What does “HD” mean, and what makes Fly Up HD Beauty different?
HD stands for High Definition.
Originally developed for the demanding world of film and television, Fly Up was created to deliver beautiful, natural-looking skin under high-definition cameras, where every detail matters.
Today, Fly Up HD Beauty combines this professional heritage with advanced skincare technology, carefully selected active ingredients and high-performance formulations designed for everyday use.

Are Fly Up HD Beauty products suitable for sensitive or acne-prone skin?
Many Fly Up HD Beauty products are formulated with sensitive and blemish-prone skin in mind.
Selected formulations contain skin-supporting ingredients such as Niacinamide, Hyaluronic Acid, Panthenol and Centella Asiatica (CICA), which help maintain hydration, support the skin barrier and improve the appearance of redness and uneven texture.
Our range also includes targeted treatments for oily, congested and blemish-prone skin.
However, everyone's skin is different, and some active ingredients, including Retinol and Salicylic Acid, may not be suitable for all skin types.
We recommend checking individual product descriptions and performing a patch test before introducing new products into your skincare routine.
Is Fly Up HD Beauty cruelty-free?
Yes. Fly Up HD Beauty follows cruelty-free practices and does not support animal testing in the development of its products.
According to our international manufacturer, neither animal testing of finished cosmetic products nor animal testing of raw materials is commissioned as part of its product development practices.
We believe beauty should combine quality, innovation and responsible practices, so you can feel confident about the products you choose.
How do I choose the right Fly Up skincare products for my skin?

Which Fly Up makeup products contain SPF?
Selected Fly Up HD Beauty products contain sun protection as part of their formulations.
These include:
- Ultra 4K HD Radiant Primer SPF30 – Helps create a smooth, radiant makeup base while providing SPF protection.
- Ultra 4K HD Makeup Base SPF25 – Helps even out skin tone, improve radiance and provide SPF protection.
- HD Mineral Daily Defence Cream SPF50 – A lightweight, tinted mineral sunscreen designed to protect and enhance the appearance of your skin.
For daily sun protection, we also recommend our HD Ultra-Light Hydrating Sunscreen Essence SPF50+, which offers broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection and works beautifully beneath makeup.
Not all makeup products contain SPF. We recommend applying a dedicated broad-spectrum sunscreen daily, rather than relying on makeup alone for adequate sun protection.
Where do you ship from, and how long does delivery take?
All Fly Up HD Beauty orders are dispatched from our fulfilment centre in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Our estimated standard courier delivery times are:
- Major cities: Approximately 2–3 business days.
- Outlying areas: Approximately 3–6 business days.
Delivery times may vary depending on your location, courier schedules and public holidays.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking information to follow your parcel's journey.
We take care to ensure your beauty essentials reach you safely and as quickly as possible.
How much does shipping cost?
We offer convenient delivery options throughout South Africa.
- Orders below R950: Flat delivery fee of R75.
- Orders of R950 or more: FREE standard delivery.
- PUDO locker collection: R35 where available.
Your applicable delivery options and charges will be displayed at checkout.
What is your returns and exchanges policy?
We want you to feel confident when shopping with Fly Up HD Beauty.
Unopened and unused products
You may request a return or exchange within 14 days of receiving your order, provided the products are unused, in their original condition and in their original packaging.
Damaged or defective products
If your order arrives damaged or you discover a product defect, please contact us so we can assist with the appropriate return or replacement process.
How to request a return
Email info@flyuphdbeauty.co.za with your order number and the reason for your request.
Once an eligible return has been received and inspected, we will arrange the applicable refund or exchange. Original delivery charges are generally non-refundable for change-of-mind returns.
Your rights under applicable consumer protection legislation remain unaffected.

Yes! Fly Up HD Beauty welcomes enquiries from professional makeup artists, beauty salons, skincare professionals and businesses interested in our range.
Our products combine professional performance with advanced skincare formulations, making them suitable for both professional applications and retail environments.
